Dairies warned over choked sewerage

MUKTSAR: The local Municipal Council has issued a notice to 22 dairies, warning them that if they were found disposing of animal excreta in the sewage lines, strict action would be taken.

The local Municipal Council has issued a notice to 22 dairies, warning them that if they were found disposing of animal excreta in the sewage lines, strict action would be taken.

Notably, Deputy Commissioner MK Aravind Kumar on Wednesday made a surprise visit to some localities along with sanitation department employees and found that animal excreta was blocking the sewerage.
