Crying vendetta, SAD, BJP leaders meet Governor

CHANDIGARH:Leaders of the SAD-BJP on Sunday urged Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore to direct the Congress government to put an end to “politically motivated and vendetta-driven probes and ensure no elected member is implicated in false cases”.

Leaders of the SAD-BJP on Sunday urged Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore to direct the Congress government to put an end to “politically motivated and vendetta-driven probes and ensure no elected member is implicated in false cases”.

A delegation led by SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal and BJP state president Shwait Malik submitted a memorandum to the Governor. They alleged that the Congress was politicising Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan incidents. The SIT was acting in a biased manner aimed at settling scores with top Akali leadership, Sukhbir alleged.
