Punjab AAP Chief and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann has launched a special initiative ‘Sada MP Sade Ghar’ under which he would visit houses of his party leaders to listen to the grievances of area residents. On Sunday, Mann was in Bhuller Heri village of the district.

The AAP state chief said initially he would visit one village of each Assembly constituency and listen to the grievances of residents of surrounding villages also. He would also start his tour of all Assembly constituencies. He met residents of many villages at Bhuller Heri, heard their complaints and also asked officers concerned to redress them as early as possible.

Meanwhile, he alleged that some cops were helping drug smugglers in the state.

“Smack, heroin and other drugs are frequently seized, but we have not read any news about them being destroyed. Ultimately, these reach the cops and they smuggle the seized drugs. Some cops have formed a nexus with drug smugglers and they are destroying the state,” Mann said.

On the SYL issue, he said Punjab did not have surplus water to share it with Haryana. “Both SAD and Congress have been using SYL for political gains. They got many chances when the issue could have been solved, but they did not take any steps,” Mann alleged.
