The SAD on Friday said the deep-rooted conspiracy of the Congress to take control of the SGPC for management of Sikh shrines had been exposed.

It was commenting on the resolution passed by the Congress and AAP in the Vidhan Sabha to authorise CM Capt Amarinder Singh to meet the Union Home Minister for expediting the Sikh body polls. Daljit Singh Cheema, SAD senior vice-president, said the Congress had come out in the open to capture the religious body. — TNS
