Cong, SAD hand in glove, alleges Mann

State AAP convener and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann today raised the issue of unemployment in the state.

He addressed election meetings at Hadiabad and the grain market in support of AAP candidate Santosh Kumar Gogi today.

He targeted both the SADand Congress for “ruining” Punjab, saying that both parties were hand in glove.

Highlighting the need to provide jobs to youth, the AAP MP said increasing unemployment, lawlessness and corrupt system were forcing the youth in the state to migrate to Canada and other countries on the pretext of further studies.

Claiming that he was not happy with the holding of byelections, Mann said he was opposed to it as the process entailed expenditure of a huge amount of public money.

Mann said an elected MLA or MP should not be allowed to resign before the completion of the term to avoid byelections.

Claiming there was a need to show bureaucracy its position, he said during the rule of the Congress and SAD governments, it seemed that bureaucrats called the shots.
