Cong leader holds pep talk with workers

Fazilka, March 12

Congress leader Hans Raj Josan today held a meeting with his supporters in Jalalabad to take stock of preparations for the forthcoming panchayat, block samiti and zila parishad elections.

The elections are expected to be held after three months. Josan asked his supporters to gear up to defeat the candidates of the Shiromani Akali Dal.

He said the government was on the right track to make the state debt-free.

Josan was denied Congress ticket from Jalalabad segment during the previous Assembly elections. Youth Congress president Ravneet Singh Bittu was pitted against SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and AAP Punjab president Bhagwant Mann. — OC
