Chief Khalsa Diwan’s executive has given nod to hold general election of over a century-old Sikh educational institute on February 17.

Members of the executive held a crucial meeting and finalised the process to hold the election. They ratified the names of the contestants who had applied for the election.

Honorary secretary of the CKD Narinder Singh Khurana informed that Prof Baljinder Singh, Iqbal Singh Lalpura and Jaswinder Singh Dhillon will be election officials. After excluding bogus voters the list of total number of eligible voters came down from 425 to 398. — TNS
