The court of Sessions Judge Gurbir Singh on Thursday adjourned the hearing in the alleged City Centre scam till February 1 after partly hearing the arguments on former Director General of Police (DGP) Sumedh Singh Saini’s plea for making him party in the case.

Director prosecution, Punjab, Vijay Singla opposed the contentions of Saini’s lawyer. He stressed that Saini had no locus standi to file the plea. He claimed that Saini signed no document before the registration of FIR in the present case. So, he cannot be termed as complainant in the case.
