AMRITSAR: Tourism Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu on Wednesday declared to commence direct flight between Amritsar and Kuala Lumpur soon.

Amritsar: Tourism Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu on Wednesday declared to commence direct flight between Amritsar and Kuala Lumpur soon. AirAsia has endeavoured to start the operations by Diwali. Announcing the flight along with Amritsar MP Gurjit Singh Aujla and AirAsia officials Suresh Nair and Beniyamin Ismail, Sidhu said the flight would be four days a week. He said travellers would further have an opportunity to connect to Australia, New Zealand and other top destinations from Kuala Lampur. Sidhu said the government was open to facilitate anyone wanting to operate flights from Amritsar. TNS
