All-women camel safari in state

Abohar: The BSF and Air Force’s all-women camel expedition entered the state on Saturday. The expedition was flagged off from the Air Force station at Uttarlai in Barmer on the Independence Day. The expedition traversed through the Rann of Kutch in Gujarat and the Thar Desert in Rajasthan to reach the Attari border on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2). As many as 10 women warriors from the IAF and 16 personnel from the BSF are taking part in the expedition. They interacted with border civilians to spread awareness on “Swachh Bharat” and “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” Abhiyan. Raj Sadosh
