ADGP, 2 SSPs among Police Medal winners

CHANDIGARH: Mohali SSP Kuldeep Singh will receive the Police Medal for gallantry on Independence Day, while ADGP (Security) RN Dhoke and Kapurthala SSP Satinder Singh have been selected for the President’s Police Medal for distinguished services.

Mohali SSP Kuldeep Singh will receive the Police Medal for gallantry on Independence Day, while ADGP (Security) RN Dhoke and Kapurthala SSP Satinder Singh have been selected for the President’s Police Medal for distinguished services.

Thirteen other police officers/officials would be awarded the Police Medal for meritorious services: Sukhwant Singh Gill, AIG (Personnel); Gurpreet Singh, Commandant, Commando Training Centre, Bahadurgarh, Patiala; Inspector Gurmej Singh, PSO to DGP (Law and Order); Bhajan Singh, Sub-Inspector, Security Wing; Sub-Inspector Manmohan Singh, PSO to Punjab DGP; Jugal Kishore and Chamba Lal, Sub Inspectors (Intelligence); Bithal Hari, Sub-Inspector, litigation branch, CPO; Satnam Singh, Sub-Inspector, office of ADGP (Armed Battalions) Jalandhar; ASI Lakhwinder Singh, office of DGP (Law and Order); Rajni Devi, ASI, CID unit, SAS Nagar; Chanchal Singh, ASI, office of Commandant Regional Training Centre, PAP, Jalandhar; and Deep Kumar, Head Constable, wireless station, Naina Devi.
