MUKTSAR: The police today recovered the body of a 25-year-old boy from Bathinda Road on the outskirts of the town.

The police today recovered the body of a 25-year-old boy from Bathinda Road on the outskirts of the town. The body had several injury marks, apparently caused by some sharp-edged weapons. The deceased has been identified as Rajiv Kumar of Abohar Road here. His family members told the police that someone had called Rajiv near the old octroi post on the Kotkapura road last night. However, Rajiv did not return home. Acting on the statement of the deceased’s family members, the police have booked four persons under Section 302 of the IPC.
