Two men were killed while another was seriously injured when the car in which they were travelling crashed into an unidentified vehicle due to dense fog near Rajeana village in Baghapurana sub-division of Moga district on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.

The deceased were identified as Gurav Kumar (28) and Anoop Kumar (30) while the injured was identified as Sahib Kumar, the brother of one of the deceased.

The injured was rushed to a local hospital from where he was referred to the DMC Hospital at Ludhiana where his condition was said to be critical, the local police said.

According to the details, all three were coming from Kotkapura to Moga in a Zen car. When they reached Rajeana village, the car crashed into an unidentified vehicle due to dense fog. Gaurav and Anoop died on the spot while Sahib was seriously injured, the local police said.

The roof of the car was ripped and it was badly damaged from the front side. The vehicle in which it crashed was not found on the spot.
