182 units of blood donated at Fazilka camp

As many as 182 units of blood were donated by youths at a mega blood donation camp organised by NGOs Shri Ram Kirpa Sewa Sangh Welfare Society and Dukh Nivaran Shri Bala Ji Dham, Fazilka, at the local Ram Sharnam Ashram on Sunday.

Camp in charge Rajeev Kukreja said about 3,700 units had already been donated through 28 camps organised by the NGOs during the past one year. The blood was collected by a team of the blood bank at the local civil hospital.

Ram Sharnam Ashram chief Dina Nath Sachdeva lauded the efforts of the youths in donating blood to save the lives of people. —OC
