Sarvjit Singh is FIEO Punjab state convener

LUDHIANA: The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has constituted the FIEO Punjab State Committee.

The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has constituted the FIEO Punjab State Committee. The objective of this committee will be to support Punjab-based exporters in promoting their businesses globally, address the problems faced by them while doing international trade and take up important matters with the Ministry or authority concerned for favourable outcome.

Sarvjit Singh, proprietor, MAN International, has been nominated as the convenor for the Punjab Committee. The committee will also include members from other prominent cities of Punjab for a uniform representation of our state.

Sarvjit, the newly appointed convenor, FIEO Punjab, has done Post Graduation in Business Administration from Shimla University, Himachal Pradesh. He started his career by joining Ralson Group in 1989. Later, he moved to Eastman Industries, before establishing his own company by the name “MAN International”, in 1995. Now, with a vast experience of close to 24 years in the field of exports, MAN International is exporting various products to a number of countries across the globe.

Sarvjit Singh on being appointed as the Convener of FIEO Punjab Committee said, “It is indeed a great honour to lead and represent the FIEO Punjab State Committee. Rahul Ahuja, Managing Director, Rajnish Industries Pvt Ltd, earlier headed the committee for the past couple of years. Under his able guidance, the committee performed excellent job by taking various key initiatives and arranging important interactions with key government functionaries and also took up a number of exporters issues with the officials concerned for favorable outcome.”

He also added that, “Recently, Ashwani Kumar, Director, VICTOR Forgings Ltd, Jalandhar, has been elected as the regional chairman for the FIEO Northern Region.
