NEW DELHI: A woman and two children were burnt to death after the car they were travelling in caught fire on a flyover near Yamuna bank depot in Delhi on Sunday.

A woman and two children were burnt to death after the car they were travelling in caught fire on a flyover near Yamuna bank depot in Delhi on Sunday.

According to a Delhi Fire Service official, the probable cause of the incident is CNG cylinder which caught fire.

The family was travelling when the car caught fire. As soon as the car caught fire, the man driving the car and his daughter sitting beside him jumped out of the car.

His wife and two children sitting on the back seat got trapped and could not be dragged out.

According to police, passersby evacuated the driver and one child but couldn’t save the woman and two children sitting on the backseat of the car.
