Two killed, 12 injured in road accident in UP’s Pratapgarh

Pratapgarh (UP), December 11

Two people were killed and 12 others injured when their vehicle was hit by a tractor in Kunda area here, police said on Monday.

The incident took place on Sunday night when an SUV, carrying 14 people, was hit by a tractor, killing its driver Pramod Kumar (28) and Sadhna Devi (18) on the spot, they said.

The injured were admitted to a hospital, where their condition was said to be stable, the police said.

An FIR had been registered, they said, adding that no arrests had been made so far. PTI
