Chandigarh, March 27

Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a televised address informed the nation about how India had become an important space power.

India is the fourth country to have this power. Until today, only the US, Russia and China had achieved this, he said.

But before the announcement was made; social media began assuming the possibilities of why Modi wanted to address the country in the first place.

After the address, Modi tweeted: “#MissionShakti is special for 2 reasons:

(1) India is only the 4th country to acquire such a specialised & modern capability.

(2) Entire effort is indigenous.

India stands tall as a space power!

It will make India stronger, even more secure and will further peace and harmony.”

Twitter reactions:

One said: “Mujhe laga pakistan nahi rah”.

Another said: “Mujhe laga ki Rahul ji BJP me join hone ja rahe hai”.

Another tweeted: “ISRO, DRDO, NAL, LRDE - Established by Nehru. Chor Chowkidaar : "Mitron, maine yeh Kiya, woh Kiya..."

Modi as always is taking credit. Wish he addresses the Nation on the Job crisis!”.

One said: “Imagine the quantity of blood pressure medication consumed in Pakistan over the past hour. "Arey baba.. Modi is making an important announcement!!”.

Another tweeted: “The entire country gets into a panic when this nautanki Prime Minister tweets or informs us about any impending announcement. One of the many reasons why this guy must be voted out. #MissionShakti”.

The last time Modi had addressed the nation was on November 8, 2016, when he had announced demonetisation.
