A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Congress of misleading the people by playing a friendly match in the state Assembly elections, Congress president Rahul Gandhi hit back at him calling TRS as the “B-team” of Sangh Pariwar and BJP.

Addressing a rally in Telangana where he, for the first time, shared dais with Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu, Rahul alleged the BJP and the TRS had connived to keep the Congress away from power.

“But the people have seen through their dirty game and are waiting to see the Congress and its alliance partners for the next government in the state.”

The Congress claimed the TRS was helping the Narendra Modi government to prevent the Congress from ousting the BJP at the Centre.

“When we were fighting over land acquisition Bill in Parliament, the TRS was helping the BJP. The TRS helped the RSS and Modi in every Bill. TRS is not Telangana Rashtra Samithi but “Telangana Rashtra Sanghpariwar”. It is the ‘B-team’ of Sangh Pariwar,” he said.
