Sonia Gandhi hospitalised with food poisoning

NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi has been hospitalised with food poisoning but is responding well to treatment and would be discharged soon, doctors attending to her, said on Tuesday.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has been hospitalised with food poisoning but is responding well to treatment and would be discharged soon, doctors attending to her, said on Tuesday.

Gandhi was taken to Sir Gangaram Hospital with food poisoning complains on May 7 night and will be discharged soon.

Dr DS Rana, chairman, Board of Management, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, said, "Sonia Gandhi was admitted to the hospital on Sunday due to food poisoning. She is well now and will be discharged soon."
