Road rage: Man shot at after bikes graze in south Delhi

NEW DELHI: A 47-year-old man on a motorcycle was shot at and injured by another person on a bike in an incident of road rage after their vehicles grazed against each other in south Delhi, police said on Friday.

A 47-year-old man on a motorcycle was shot at and injured by another person on a bike in an incident of road rage after their vehicles grazed against each other in south Delhi, police said on Friday.

The incident occurred on Thursday night at around 10 pm. A pedestrian informed police that a motorcycle rider was shot by another biker opposite Okhla Sabzi Mandi.

“During investigation it was found that the victim, Mohammad Zaki, received gun shot in his right thigh. It had resulted as their motorcycles grazed. The accused fired upon him and escaped from the spot,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baaniya said.

“We have detained two suspects and they are being interrogated,” Baaniya said. IANS
