Principal, teacher held for raping minor school girl in Patna

PATNA: The principal and a teacher of a school in Patna were held for allegedly raping a minor girl student of their school who later became pregnant.

The principal and a teacher of a school in Patna were held for allegedly raping a minor girl student of their school who later became pregnant.

The principal and the teacher were held from a school located in Phulwari Sharif locality of Patna.

A case has been registered under Mahila police station of Patna. The medical examination was carried out on the victim and her statement was recorded under Section 164 of CrPC.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj said: “The principal and a teacher of a private school were arrested for allegedly sexually exploiting a minor school girl. This is a heinous crime”.

Victim’s family members said that if our daughter was not safe in an educational institution, what we should have done.

“Should we stop educating our daughters, if such a horrible situation prevails.”
