President Kovind arrives in Patna to grace 2 convocations

PATNA: President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday landed in Patna on a day-long visit as he is to grace the first convocation of Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University at Pusa in Samastipur district.

President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday landed in Patna on a day-long visit as he is to grace the first convocation of Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University at Pusa in Samastipur district.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Governor Lalji Tandon and other dignitaries welcomed the President at the Patna airport. They accompanied the President to Pusa where they are scheduled to grace the convocation.

At least 500 students of RPCAU would be given degrees.

The President would also address the eighth convocation of National Institute of Technology in Patna (NIT-Patna) before leaving for Delhi.

Kovind was the Bihar Governor before being elected the President.
