It was a pleasant morning here on Wednesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 11.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met predicts rains later.

"The sky will remain generally cloudy with light rain or drizzle during the day," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius. The humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 98 per cent.

The Indian Railways said as many as 14 Delhi-bound trains were delayed due to fog.

Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 23.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average and the minimum temperature was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius, three notches below the normal. — IANS
