The Unnao rape victim who was set ablaze by her perpetrators on Thursday passed away at Safdarjung Hospital here on Friday night after doctors failed to revive her following a cardiac arrest.
Hospital authorities confirmed the death saying she suffered a cardiac arrest and could not be resuscitated.
The victim was on her way to Rae Bareli on Thursday in connection with the case when she was kidnapped by the alleged rapists who set her afire.

On November 30, the alleged rapists were granted bail and they started intimidating her upon release, leading to the horrific crime.
