Zero Hour and Question Hour in Rajya Sabha suspended

NEW DELHI: Chairman of Rajya Saba Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday suspended the "Zero Hour" and "Question Hour" proceedings to accommodate discussion on Motion of Thanks on President''s Address.

Chairman of Rajya Saba Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday suspended the "Zero Hour" and "Question Hour" proceedings to accommodate discussion on Motion of Thanks on President's Address.

Suspending the two proceedings, Naidu said although he was not in its favour on account of their importance he was opting for it to ensure completion of the discussion on the motion  before lunch session, which was to be followed by reply by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The discussion was started in both Houses of Parliament on Monday.
