NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi distributed sweets at the party headquarters to mark his birthday.

PM Narendra Modi led with greetings: “Best wishes to Shri @RahulGandhi on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and a long life.” Gandhi tweeting back thanks and appreciations.

For the first time, Gandhi himself offered sweets telling everyone in his trademark style: “Lijiye bhaiyya.”

Gandhi also visited the party headquarters for the first time since May 25 when he told a Congress working committee that he would be stepping down as party chief.
