Nadda pitches for health cover to all

NEW DELHI: Addressing the 70th World Health Assembly in Geneva today, Health Minister JP Nadda said India was confident of meeting all health related sustainable development targets by 2030 and was committed to universal health coverage.

Addressing the 70th World Health Assembly in Geneva today, Health Minister JP Nadda said India was confident of meeting all health related sustainable development targets by 2030 and was committed to universal health coverage.

“We are confident that India will be able to achieve the nine targets under SDG relating to health and well being for all at all ages,” he said during his addresses at the Plenary Meeting of the 70th World Health Assembly. Nadda also said India was on track to meeting 90 per cent child immunization targets by 2020. — TNS
