INX: PC grilled, held in Tihar

NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate arrested former Finance Minister P Chidambaram in Tihar jail today in connection with its probe in the INX Media money laundering case as it now prepares to put him through extensive grilling sessions, officials said.

The Enforcement Directorate arrested former Finance Minister P Chidambaram in Tihar jail today in connection with its probe in the INX Media money laundering case as it now prepares to put him through extensive grilling sessions, officials said.

Following yesterday's court orders allowing the agency to interrogate and arrest him, if necessary, in the case, a three-member team briefly questioned 74-year-old Chidambaram and placed him under arrest under provisions of the PMLA. — PTI
