New Delhi, September 17
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi today said the detention of former J&K Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah was meant to create space for terrorists in the Valley and use the UT to polarise the nation.
“It is obvious that the government is trying to remove nationalist leaders like Farooq Abdullah to create a political vacuum in J&K, that will be filled by terrorists. Kashmir can then permanently be used as a political instrument to polarise the rest of India. The government should stop creating space for terrorists in J&K and release all nationalist leaders as soon as possible,” Gandhi said in a tweet today. — TNS
