Four people run over by car in Rajasthan’s Kota

KOTA: Four people were killed after a car ran them over while they were having tea at a roadside stall on the Kota-Lalsot highway in Rajasthan’s Bundi district, police said.

Four people were killed after a car ran them over while they were having tea at a roadside stall on the Kota-Lalsot highway in Rajasthan’s Bundi district, police said.

The accident took place on Thursday evening. Three of them died on the spot while the fourth succumbed to injuries at a hospital, they said.

They were all farmers.

The bodies were handed over to their families after post-mortem on Friday morning, police said.

The deceased were identified as Satayanarayan Meena (45), Brijmohan Meena (40), Laxman Singh Hada (60) and Shivraj Gautam, all residents of Kotakhurd village, Deikheda SHO Hariram Jat said.

The car’s driver and another person suffered injuries. They were admitted to Maharao Bhim Singh (MBS) hospital here, he said. PTI
