Deaths in queue: Rs 2 lakh for UP victims’ kin

Lucknow: UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has announced compensation of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of persons belonging to economically weaker section “who died while exchanging/depositing notes or in ATM queues”.

The CM also announced Rs 5 lakh to the faimly of Razia of Aligarh district who immolated herself on November 20 after she failed to exchange six notes of Rs 500 even after visiting the bank for three days.
