Brahma temple Mahant, 2 others killed in Jaipur mishap

JAIPUR:Mahant of the world famous Brahma Temple in Pushkar in Ajmer district, Sompuri Maharaj and two others were killed in a road accident near Dudu on Express Highway, 60 km from here,on Wednesday.

Mahant of the world famous Brahma Temple in Pushkar in Ajmer district, Sompuri Maharaj and two others were killed in a road accident near Dudu on Express Highway, 60 km from here, on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje expressed grief over the death the Mahant (50) and two others and termed it a very unfortunate accident.

Other deceased have been identified as woman head constable Vijay Laxmi (45) and Laxminarayan (46).

The constable was not on official duty, Dudu Thana SHO Surendra Singh told The Tribune.

The trio was coming to Jaipur from Ajmer in a Swift car when it collided with a water tanker, which was later impounded and its driver detained.
