BJP fields Gautam Gambhir from East Delhi, repeats Meenakshi Lekhi in New Delhi

NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Janata Party will field former cricketer Gautam Gambhir from East Delhi, the party’s latest list of candidates said on Monday. Delhi, which has seven parliamentary seats, will vote in a single phase the sixth phase on May 12.

Bharatiya Janata Party will field former cricketer Gautam Gambhir from East Delhi, the party’s latest list of candidates said on Monday.  

Gambhir is up against former Congress chief Arvinder Lovely.

The party will field its incumbent Member of Parliament Meenakshi Lekhi from New Delhi, against Congress party’s Ajay Maken.

Delhi, which has seven parliamentary seats, will vote in a single phase the sixth phase on May 12. Votes will be counted on May 23.
