Russia Prez to arrive in India tonight

NEW DELHI: Russia President Vladimir Putin will arrive in New Delhi for a two-day visit on Wednesday night.
 During his visit, the Russian President will attend the 15th Annual India-Russia Summit, which will be a significant milestone in bilateral relations and is expected to lead to about 15 to 20 facilitating agreements in the fields of defence, nuclear energy, science and technology, space, customs among others.
Besides attending the annual India-Russia Summit, he will also jointly inaugurate the World Diamond Conference in the national capital tomorrow, and interact with CEOs of prominent Indian firms.
During his visit, President Putin is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee.
Relations with Russia are a key pillar of India's foreign policy and Moscow has been a longstanding time-tested partner of New Delhi. India-Russia ties have an enhanced level of cooperation in almost all areas of the bilateral relationship including political, security, trade and economy, defence, science and technology and culture.
