International awards for Pahari film ‘Saanjh’
Chandigarh: Pahari film ‘Saanjh’ has won awards at two international festivals. It won the Best Feature Film award at The Borrego Springs Film Festival in California on January 16. Director Ajay Saklani says it beat 750 other entries. The film also received “award of merit” at the Accolade Global Film Competition in California. Saanjh raises the issue of migration and the loneliness of parents who have reached the final stage of their life. TNS
