New Delhi, September 29

Hailing the Army after the surgical strikes on terror launchpads across the LoC, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said the entire country stands behind the armed forces.

However, AAP leaders, who had earlier attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Uri attack for not acting against Pakistan, remained silent on the government’s move.

The announcement of the sudden action by the Army was made today by the DGMO Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, 11 days after the terror strike by Pakistan-based terror outfit JeM on an Indian Army camp in Uri in Kashmir over which Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the attackers will not go “unpunished” and that the sacrifice of 18 jawans will not go in vain.

Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra had even started an online petition, urging Modi to revoke the Most Favoured Nation status to Pakistan. — PTI
