39 Indians trapped in Mosul alive: MEA

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of External Affairs said on Friday that 39 people from Punjab currently trapped in Iraq’s war-torn Mosul were alive. MEA spokesman Gopal Baglay said India had no information that stated otherwise.

"We are in touch with all countries that can help us,” he said, although he was unwilling to say more, saying only that it was sensitive.
