A 20-year-old youth died because of his apparent addiction to the popular online game ‘PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds’ also known as ‘PUBG’.

Reports suggest that the youth died after complaining about severe neck pain, caused by playing the mobile game constantly for over 45 days.

He was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his physical condition.

The deceased hailed from Telangana, and was known for playing the game for hours on end.

Instances of people getting killed or facing addiction-like symptoms have become a common sight with ‘PUBG’ in the country.

This has forced law agencies to take a stringent action like banning the game in a few parts of the country.
