17 cases against SP leaders

LUCKNOW: The UP Police on Wednesday filed 17 cases against Samajwadi Party leaders in which 296 people have been implicated.

The UP Police on Wednesday filed 17 cases against Samajwadi Party leaders in which 296 people have been implicated.

They were booked following protests after party president Akhilesh Yadav was prevented from boarding a flight to Prayagraj on Tuesday.

IG Law and Order Praveen Kumar said the maximum of two cases have been filed in Prayagraj against two SP MPs and an MLC. — TNS
