15 trains cancelled, 27 delayed due to fog in north India

It was a cloudy Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 13.8 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season’s average.

Around 15 trains were cancelled and 27 delayed due to fog in several parts of northern India.

“The sky will be partly cloudy here with moderate fog in the morning,” an India Meteorological Department official told IANS.

The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius, a degree more than the normal.

The humidity at 8.30 am was 91 per cent and visibility stood at 800 metres.

Monday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 8.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average, and the maximum temperature settled at 27.2 degrees Celsius. IANS
