111 ‘corrupt’ hospitals listed on PMJAY site

New Delhi: Over 111 hospitals found involved in corruption and fraud have been listed on the official website of Ayushman Bharat insurance scheme (PMJAY) as part of the government’s “name and shame” policy, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Monday. The policy is aimed at creating deterrence among healthcare establishments. PTI

Ram Leela: ‘Taadka’ suffers burns, hospitalised

Muzaffarnagar: A youth playing the role of a mythical character ‘Taadka’ in a Ram Leela in Rampuri locality here, has landed in hospital after his clothes caught fire on stage. According to reports, the incident took place in the wee hours of Monday when Ankit started spraying off kerosene from his mouth to create a bust of flames. During the act, the flames fell on his clothes that caught fire. Ankit, who had suffered 60 per cent burns, was later referred to Meerut for advanced treatment from a local hospital. IANS
