Once bitten twice shy, and in this case thrice bitten and multiple times shy! This biting part comes from director Manduip Singh and singer-actor Roshan Prince and their combined effort called Arjan.

The film begins on a painfully slow pace with the regular humdrum. The story is so predictable that even astrologers would feel bad predicting the next move in the film. The dialogues are so regular that the word regular might want an image makeover! The film reminds us of Namastey London.

Manduip Singh has not added or removed anything from the original film. But could he actually do much with a story that has dullness written all over it?

One can’t even give credit to cinematography because it is just so average again. The film stars Roshan Prince as Arjan. Now, there is one thing about this artiste that holds ground—he is a good singer, but when it comes to acting, it seems this is not his cup of tea or probably he is not working with the right director who can get work out of him. He doesn’t stand out as the lead of the film. In fact, Prachi Tehlan and Hobby Dhaliwal hold promise even in their monotonous roles. Beautiful Prachi makes her debut with this film. This girl does have it in her what takes to go far in this industry. As for Hobby Dhaliwal and BN Sharma, they should say no to such films. Actor Nirmal Rishi should also follow suit and insist on doing better roles.

The music of the film doesn’t create any buzz, Jassi Katyal, Gurcharan and Jaggi Singh, it’s time to wear your creative caps.

With no twists and turns and entertainment, and no fun music, Arjan is a film you wouldn’t want to spend money on, not even for the silver row and not even for free!
