Two bike thieves held with 3 two-wheelers

Ludhiana, December 13

The police today claimed to have arrested two bike thieves and recovered three stolen motorcycles and scooters from them. They have been identified as Gurdeep Singh, alias Monu, of Tibba Road; and Sukhjit Singh, alias Jassi, of EWS Colony here.

The suspects were arrested by a team from the Division Number 2 police station near Labour Cut Colony, Janakpuri, following a tip-off. Division Number 2 SHO Satwant Singh Bains said: “During preliminary questioning, the suspects confessed to their involvement in at least four incidents of snatching and loot. More revelations are expected from them during further investigation,” said the SHO.
