Keeping in mind the importance of sports and all-round development of students, Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Senior Secondary School, Doraha, organised its junior sports day.

Amarjit Singh, trust member, was the chief guest. The event was conducted under the guidance of Gurbinder Kaur, Kindergarten coordinator, with the help of other staff members.

The function began with the shabad followed by a welcome speech. Students participated in various interesting races such as rabbit race, paste stones on shapes, jumping with balls, balance race, pearl-thread race, necking the ball, fill the bottle race, jalebi race , zigzag race, bag packing race and Hurdles race, etc. Tiny tots showed their motor skills and physical strength by participating in various events among the cheering of students.

The winners of various events were given away prizes. Amarjit Singh motivated students to take part in sports to lead a healthy life. The sports meet concluded with the National Anthem.
