Tiny tots dance in the rain

Ludhiana: Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar, organised a rain dance party for tiny tots. Students came dressed in their swimming costumes and danced to the beats of roaring storm and thundering clouds. Artificial rain showers were also arranged for students.

Parkash Purb celebrations

GMT International Public School, Kakowal Road, in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation, celebrated the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. Students paid tributes to Guru Nanak Dev by spreading his message of harmony, humility and equality through speeches and slogan writing competition. Guriqbal Singh Thind, school director, along with Principal Amajit Dhaliwal, appreciated the endeavors of students.

GNPS bag multiple medals in sports 

Sportspersons of Guru Nanak Public School, Mullanpur, bagged a glorious victory at Dakha zonal competition. The school secured first Position in U-19 (Girls) basketball, second position in U-14 (Boys) cricket, third position in U-19 (Girls) badminton and U-17 (Boys) Kabaddi. In handball, players clinched second position in the U-17 girls category, third position in U-14 (Boys) football and first in the U-14 category.

Capacity-building workshop

A one-day capacity building CBSE workshop for teachers on ‘Value Education’ was held at Om Parkash Bansal Modern School, Mandi Gobindgarh. Teachers were told the importance of value education and challenges faced by them in integration of value education with school education. Teachers also learnt various ways to inculcate essential values such as love, compassion and good conduct.

Grandparents walk the ramp

ABC Magical World celebrated Grandparents’ Day. The campus was decorated with colourful charts and balloons. Various games such as one-minute game show, musical chairs and ramp walk were organised for grandparents. Children prepared greeting cards for their grandparents. TNS
