Teachers attend training programme on Microsoft

A three-day capacity building programme for high school teachers on “improving access and use of ICT in CBSE schools” was hosted by DCM Presidency School. The programme was organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in association with Microsoft India, with the aim to integrate cloud-powered technology in K12 teaching.

The programme will provide teachers a better access to the latest information and communication technology (ICT) tools and help them in integrating technology into teaching in a safe and secure manner to enhance learning experience and 21st century skills of their students. The teachers nominated by the CBSE will also undergo a three-day project-based training for practical and hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools such as OneNote, Flipgrid, Teams, Outlook, Minecraft and Paint3-D Microsoft.

Teachers of 27 schools from all over Punjab participated in the workshop conducted by Suraj Shetkar, senior programme manager from Microsoft.
