Hardeep Singh (23), a student of the Multi Skill Development Centre took part in national level interaction session headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday in Patiala.

Live video streaming was held under the Punjab Skill Development Mission at the ITI College for Boys, Gill Road, Ludhiana, wherein more than 150 students participated in the event.

Hardeep is pursuing customer care executive course at the college under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY). He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted various schemes for youngsters and shared success stories to inspire them. He informed us about self help groups (SHG) and how we can avail loan facility for the same. However, we could not hold one to one dialogue with PM Modi and hence wrote our queries through letters. The interaction was held in several places, including Chattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh,”
