LUDHIANA: Providing a huge relief to micro and small scale industry, the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has removed restrictions on release of new small power (SP) connections in the city.

Providing a huge relief to micro and small scale industry, the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has removed restrictions on release of new small power (SP) connections in the city.

Directions to this effect were issued by power utility Chairman and Managing Director Baldev Singh Sra.

Jaswinder Singh Thukral, president, Janta Nagar Small Scale Manufacturers Association, said he had led a delegation to meet the CMD last week to apprise him of difficulties faced by small and micro units because of restrictions on release of new SP connections. — OC
