Sikh scholars pay tributes to Master Tara Singh on his birth anniversary

The Panth Rattan Master Tara Singh Yaadgari Trust organised an event to commemorate the 133rd birth anniversary of Master Tara Singh at the Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) here today.

A large number of eminent Sikh scholars, dignitaries and leaders were present.

Professor Gurbhajan Singh Gill, former president, Punjabi Sahit Academy, talked about the life of Master Tara Singh.

Dr SP Singh, former Vice-Chancellor, GNDU, Amritsar, lauded the role of Master Tara Singh in serving the community.

Baba Ajit Singh, former Chairman, Trade Cell, saluted the efforts of Master Ji who protected the cause of Sikhism. Hira Singh Ji Gabria, former Jail & Tourism Minister, stressed the need for reviewing the role played by Master Tara Singh ji as a freedom fighter who helped shape the destiny of the Sikhs.

Bibi Kiranjot Kaur, Master Tara Singh’s granddaughter, encouraged the youth to follow the path shown by Master ji.
